At New Dundee Baptist Church we believe that educating our children in what is right and true is of most importance, after all the children are the way of the future. During the service you or a volunteer may take your children to the nursery. Packages with colouring pages and other activities are available as well for the children that remain in the service.
Sunday School begins at 10:50am each Sunday and concludes at 12:00pm. Sunday School breaks in June for the summer and resumes again in September. There are several different classes based on age to make sure the material is age appropriate and ensure each individual is learning from the experience.
Primary- This class focuses on basic Bible stories. They are presented in a way that young children will understand and include crafts and activities.
Junior- This year the Junior class will be studying the Heros of the Bible and how we can learn from their stories. This class is full of heroic lessons, fun games, creative crafts, and sometimes yummy snacks. The teacher, Chureb, puts hours of preparation and hard work into each lesson in order for the children to have fun and learn more about the Bible.
T's Class- The T's class has people from all age groups including tweens, teens and twenties. This class has previously discussed topics such as Heaven, spiritual warfare, and stepping out of our comfort zone. This year they will be studying several topics including the series, Not a Fan. These lessons encourage people of all ages to not just admire what Christ has done but devote their entire lives to Him, no matter what the cost. This class also enjoys having fun by having class events. These have included a Christmas Party (seen below), skiing party, Duck Dynasty Party, and a movie night, all focused on having a good time and building relationships.
Adult- The adult class welcomes all who wish to learn and study together. This year they will be studying a book and DVD series by Mark Batterson called "The Grave Robber" which explores the 7 miracles of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of John.
